We make it simple, supportive, and worth every moment.

Why You Should Host

Hosting a Michigan Sober Social event is more than just organizing a gathering — it’s about making a difference.

Whether you’re in recovery, sober curious, or just passionate about wellness — your event could be the turning point someone didn’t know they needed.

We're looking for hosts who are:

  • Responsible and organized

  • Committed to maintaining a 100% alcohol-free environment

  • Aligned with our values of inclusion, kindness, and fun

  • Comfortable being a point person (or willing to work with a co-host)

  • Willing to share the event publicly through MSS (we’ll help promote)

You don’t need to have a large network — just a big heart and the right intentions.

No two events are alike — we encourage creativity!
Some of our favorite sober-friendly gatherings include:

  • Bonfires & beach days

  • Sober game nights or trivia

  • Hikes and nature walks

  • Backyard potlucks or cookouts

  • Creative workshops (art, writing, music)

  • Yoga or meditation sessions

  • Community clean-ups or volunteering events

  • Sober tailgates or costume parties

Got something unique in mind? We love saying “yes.”

You don’t need to be a pro — just someone who cares.

  • 1 Year Of Sobriety

  • A safe, inclusive, and welcoming space (home, park, business, studio, etc.)

  • A desire to bring people together around sober fun

  • Basic planning ability — we’ll walk with you step-by-step

  • Communication with our team (we’re here to help!)

Ready to bring people together — no alcohol required?

Let’s create something meaningful, memorable, and fun.
